Join the Fashion and Textile Museum (FTM) for an inspiring talk with Kaffe Fassett, life long friend and designer partner of Bill Gibb. He will discuss works from his latest projects, including his patchwork quilt, fabric, needlepoint, mosaic, painting and knitting designs. Kaffe Fassett – Lecture Date: 4 December 2008 Time: 6.30pm – 8.00pm A tremendous amount of Kaffe`s inspiration comes from his continual travels and his lecture is designed not so much to instruct but to empower and inspire the audience to create and develop their own "mind`s eye". The Fashion and Textile Museum is a cutting edge centre for contemporary fashion, textiles and jewellery in London. Founded by iconic British designer Zandra Rhodes, the centre houses permanent and changing exhibitions exploring elements of fashion, textile and jewellery as well as the Academy which runs courses for creative students and businesses, and the fabulous The Café @ FTM.
